How much commission does BuyStudentArt take?

Buy Student Art charges 25% commission for all artwork sold on the website (this will be taken from the final amount which is paid to you).

What price should I charge for my artwork?

This is a difficult question to answer. The cheaper the artwork, the quicker it will sell. The best way of pricing your art is to take an hourly rate and cost of material and this will give you a rough figure. The price you add to your "Sell" page will be verified.

Why can I only upload 5 pieces of art?

At Buy Student Art we want to make sure that everyones artwork is displayed equally so 5 is the maximum. When you sell art work then you can upload more pieces (up to a maximum of 5).

How should I package my art?

Please refer to our Packing Guidelines, should you need clarification please contact us on Info@BuyStudentArt.co.uk before sending. Remember you are responsible for sending the artwork and paying for the despatch so you should ensure the art is packaged well.

How should I post my artwork?

If you choose Royal Mail then you should post your artwork from the Post Office, special delivery. Ensure that you have chosen the correct insurance along with the correct signed for postage. Please keep a copy of paperwork from the Post Office should the customer put in a claim.

When will I receive my monies and how?

As the customer has a 7 day money back guarantee you will be paid within 30 days of the sale. The most preferable way of payment is PayPal, or we can transfer the money into an account of your choice, or send you a cheque. We will contact you once your artwork is sold and despatched.

What if the customer does not like their artwork?

All customers have a 7 day no quibble money back guarantee. If they are not satisfied with the artwork they will resend it back to you. Buy Student Art will reimburse the customer their postage costs.
